Hi,
I hav Act 2007 (non network) I want to use the auto dialer. My phone service is with Time Warner Digital. I am useing a late model Gateway Lap top. What do I have to do to get the dialer working. I seem to get a dial tone, and the call timer is working when I click a phone number in my data base, it sounds like it is calling as I hear dialing “tones” but it won’t ring thru to my cell phone that I am using for testing purposes.
Help.
Thnx
Larry
Larry-
This really isn’t the best place to post your comment on the blog. But I’ll respond anyway
I don’t find the ACT dialer very useful, I would encourage you to consider an alternate ACT Dialer download and give it a try, be sure you have sufficient memory. Here are a few comment on the product here as well:

I have the original dos version.1.1 of Act and want to convert over to Windows but I dont have the import1.exe file anymore. Does anyone at your company have a copy of it? It would be greatly appreciated.

I’d recommend getting in touch with an ACT! Certified Consultant. I realize this may not be exactly what you want to hear…but there are too many things that can adversely impact your migration with your older dataset.
You can find them at act.com.
